ILWACO - Teri Dodson, Outreach Specialist at Grays Harbor College (GHC), Ilwaco, has announced accredited and community service course offerings for winter term 2003 beginning Jan. 7.

Dodson said "Our winter term offerings include an eclectic mix focused on three areas: accredited classes, senior education classes, and community service classes."

The winter-accredited classes include such courses as small business management, business law, word processing applications, electronic math applications, medical terminology, medical office computerized information processing, survey of chemical dependency, and several arithmetic and algebra offerings. A complete list of winter term accredited course offerings is available at the Ilwaco Center, located at 118 Lake Street.

Community service courses include survival Spanish, and art for all mediums. Senior education courses include beginning and advanced computers.

"And don't forget our workshops," reminds Dodson. "We occasionally conduct one- or two-day workshops in specific areas. On Nov. 22, GHC offers an eight-hour customer service workshop that provides a hands-on approach to developing and implementing effective strategies."

Teri Dodson can be contacted at the GHC Ilwaco Center. She invites people to stop by or call 642-3978.
