GRAYS RIVER - The Grays River Habitat Enhancement District (GRHED) Commissioners invite landowners of the Grays River watershed, as well as other interested parties, for a public meeting with representatives from the GRHED, WDFW, Army Corps of Engineers, Wahkiakum County and other agency partners at 6:30 p.m., on Jan. 6 at the Grays River Grange Hall.

The purpose of the meeting will be to give the public an update on upcoming restoration projects proposed for the entire Grays River watershed.

The proposed restoration plan under Section 1135 of the Water Resources Act of 1986, provides the authority to modify existing Corps projects to restore the environment and construct new projects to restore areas degraded by Corps projects.

The Grays River Habitat Enhancement District Commis-sioners requests the attendance of all affected landowners, and the general public, to better understand the local responsibilities, such as cost share, etc., of all involved parties. If you have questions, please call 465-2960.
