Great Garlic!

This past weekend's Northwest Garlic Festival benefited from warm temps, sunny skies and high spirits with booth operators and festival organizers praising the strong attendance.

The two-day festival featured a variety of musical acts, an array of garlic products, fun games for young and old and a Garlic Dessert Cookoff (see Page A3).

Pictured left, Andrew and Dawlina Roulst of Mossyrock make their way around the dozens of festival booths, while above a child accepts a gift from one of the colorful clowns who wandered around Ocean Park's Sheldon Field. Right, Daniel Trachsel of Canby, Ore., and his dog, Diesel, sniff out some treats.
