LONG BEACH - This year, Super 8 Motel in Long Beach had Heidi Clarke's sixth grade class at Long Beach Elementary decorate their lobby tree.

The innovative group made their ornaments from recycled items such as computer disks and popsicle sticks and made beautiful ornaments for the tree. They also made some super-sized Christmas cards, which are hung in the meeting room for everyone to enjoy.

The group shared hot cocoa and Christmas cookies while they showed off their creativity.

Everyone in the community is invited to stop by the Super 8 for a cup of hot coffee, cocoa or spiced cider and take a look at the wonderful job they did.

The staff and management at Super 8 expressed their sincere thanks to Clarke and her sixth grade class for sharing their talent and Christmas spirit.
