LONG BEACH - Mike and Kathy White are pleased to announce the opening of The Low Carb Connection located at 1513 Pacific Highway North.

The store offers food and supplemental foods to help those who want to live a low carbohydrate lifestyle. Additionally, diabetics can benefit from the large selection of sugar-free foods they have on hand.

They feature the Atkins, Carbsense, Keto, Waldon Farm, Steels, Low Carb Creation as well as the Pangratto Bakery lines so there is a wide array of choices available. Plus they have an ice cream bar serving sugar-free, soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes and Italian sodas.

Operating a business is nothing new to the Whites. Kathy has been a business-owner on the Peninsula for more than 20 years - she owns Surfside Haircare. But, they wanted more. Because they are such believers in a low carbohydrate lifestyle, they wanted to share this with others and The Low Carb Connection provides the perfect venue. This family-owned and operated business is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Mike is particularly pleased about this opportunity to share healthy alternatives with others, and has exciting plans to expand their business. Future plans include a low carb deli, plus they will have guest speakers and will offer cooking classes.

So, take the time today to stop by The Low Carb Connection and learn about the healthy lifestyle alternatives available that may just fit your needs, or give them a call at 642-3833.
