OCEAN PARK — On Friday, April 13, at about 4:45 a.m., the Pacific County Communications Center received a 911 call from a man stating that he had just been assaulted and robbed within his residence.

The man advised that he awoke to discover what appeared to be two male subjects dressed in black clothing in his living room. The man advised that he was assaulted by the subjects and they took items from him. The two male subjects fled the area.

Pacific County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene to investigate. Deputies discovered evidence at the scene that pointed to forced entry of the residence. The reporting party was unable to provide any further description of the two suspects other than their clothing.

Deputies are continuing to investigate this incident and are following up on any new information that may arise. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, contact the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
