ILWACO - As part of National Youth Service Days, April 11 through April 13, the Migrant Education Program at Ilwaco Jr. Sr. High School is sponsoring "I Care Boxes."

The goal is to reach out to the community by putting together these boxes that contain items such as soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoos, canned goods, toys, books, etc. that can help low income families.

This community service learning project is being put together by The Migrant Education Student Leadership Program, which includes seniors Karla Parsons and Herlet Padilla, and sophomores Derek Yasunaka, Rene Orozco, Ubaldo Sebastian, and Ken Marroquin.

Donations are greatly needed. Even the smallest things can make a difference. For questions or donations, call 642-1100.
