Folks are still receiving assistance in their homes with personal care. Home delivered meals are still being provided.

Minor home repairs still occur for qualified families. Family caregivers are still getting support. Relatives as Parents can still get once-a-year help.

Energy assistance, transportation, and a myriad of other services remain in place.

Coastal Community Action Program (CCAP) provides home delivered meals and is working on increasing transportation options, and you can contact them for more information — or to volunteer as a driver — at 800-828-4883. While you’re on the phone, ask what other services they may be able to provide.

Both CCAP and Catholic Community Services (CCS) provide in-home care on both a private-pay basis and Medicaid In-Home Care basis.

CCS can be reached at 360-637-8784 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday or at 360-580-2540 Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Need some minor home repair? For seniors and low-income folks, Rebuilding Together is active in South County and can be accessed through our office in Long Beach.

How about becoming a member of the Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) Advisory Council as a minority representative? O3A is looking for a regional minority representative to assist in coordinating senior services in our service area (Pacific, Grays Harbor, Jefferson and Clallam counties).
