Sometimes people tell me, "I read your column. There's a lot of information in there." After thanking them, a small question begins to nibble at my thoughts: Did they mean there's a lot (of good) information, or there's a lot of information (meaning, a bit overwhelming)?

In looking back over the years, I've done both. In the frenzy to inform, the column may read like a fact sheet, and at other times it seems to be meandering around. And admittedly, I'll probably continue to do both.
