Jan Montchalin opens Stylin', a gently-used clothing shop, in Ilwaco's Curves building

ILWACO - The Curves building has become home for a new consignment store which features gently-used clothing.

Jan Montchalin feels the shop's location is a natural, with a steady stream of Curves' patrons already on the premises and eager to shop.

"I have recently made a permanent move to the beach, and found that shopping was limited," says Montchalin. "There's been an absolutely fantastic response as there is a genuine need for this sort of store here."

Stylin' carries designer and other quality brands of clothing, in all sizes for extremely reasonable purchase prices.

Starting in March, fashion shows at Rebecca's Canoe Room will feature clothes from Stylin' on the first Thursday of the month. In addition to clothing, the shop will also be consigning small furniture pieces, collectibles, artwork and gift items.

Stylin' is open to the public Monday through Saturday, and is located at 124 Spruce Street, in Ilwaco. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
