LONG BEACH — As in years past, the 2012 Washington State International Kite Festival will feature kite-inspired T-shirts and sweatshirts for festival-goers to take home as a souvenir. This year, the festival merchandise will include clothing designs from Long Beach’s very own Lost Weekend Clothing Co.

Opened by Craig Smith in January 2005, Lost Weekend Clothing Co. embroiders business logos and custom designs on shirts, hats and specialty items at a reasonable cost.

Some may have seen the company’s work, as worn by more than 40 local businesses, organizations and sports teams. Much of Smith’s embroidery work can be seen on the company’s website, www.lostweekendclothing.com.

“I appreciate the support of many local businesses and events and acknowledge their support on my website through an ‘Embroidered Item of the Month’ and a list of ‘Our Fabulous Customers’,” says Smith, who operates his business out of his home.

Lost Weekend Clothing Co. is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with other times available by appointment. For more information, call 642-5678.
