LONG BEACH POLICEAug. 28 - A 12:07 p.m., a two-car accident was reported. One car reportedly went airborne and down over a bank. Injuries, if any, were unknown.

At 12:33 p.m., a woman alleged that someone came into her yard and hit her car with a bat.

Aug. 29 - At 1:45 a.m., a fight was reported downtown.

At 2:52 p.m., theft of a radio and other equipment was reported.

Aug. 31 - At 9:01 a.m., an officer was requested regarding theft of fuel.

An officer contacted a person sleeping on a bench at 10:16 a.m.

An assault was reported at 12:24 p.m.

At 3:42 p.m., someone reported kids with "will skate for food" signs.

A vehicle parked blocking road access had someone sleeping inside it at 11:28 p.m.

Sept. 2 - A grass fire was reported at 2:17 p.m.

Three vehicles were reported to be driving in a no-drive zone.

Sept. 3 - Theft of a Kodak camera lens was reported at 3:57 p.m.

A brush fire was reported at 10:38 p.m.

There were 129 calls received this week.

PACIFIC COUNTY SHERIFFAug. 28 - At 7:48 a.m., someone from Naselle reported six cows roaming the neighborhood.

At 8 a.m., a male vagrant was reported sleeping in a bathroom. The caller further alleged the man has been in the area for four days and goes about looking into private vehicles.

A wallet was reported lost in Naselle at 11:33 a.m.

At 12:45 p.m., a male shoplifter with a small child allegedly stole alcohol in Ocean Park.

Malicious harassment was reported in Surfside at 2:44 p.m.

At 4:29 p.m., a male shoplifter allegedly grabbed a bottle of wine from a store in Ocean Park and fled out the door.

At 6:12 p.m., it was reported that a group of approximately five juveniles were prowling around and on the roof of a vacant house in Rushlight.

At 9:30 p.m., a 19-year-old female was reported to be hitting her mother in Ocean Park. This was alleged to be a continuing problem.

Aug. 29 - An ongoing problem with an unsecured and aggressive Rotweiller was reported in Sunset Sands.

At 9:01 a.m., someone reported suspicious behavior in Ocean Park by three males driving a gray car with the back window broken out. The three allegedly "came out of the woods with armloads of property and threw it in their car and left" the area.

At 9:33 a.m., vandalism was reported in Surfside. A homeowner found car tracks in their yard and shrubs destroyed.

Theft of a Rolex watch was reported in Ocean Park at 11:16 a.m.

Vicious dogs were reported in Ocean Park at 6:06 p.m.

An out-of-control 14-year-old male was reported in Raymond at 6:31 p.m.

A prowler was reported in Seaview at 6:52 p.m.

At 8:18 p.m., an ongoing array of problems with neighbors speeding up and down the road, shooting guns at all hours and letting their dog run loose were reported in North Cove.

Domestic violence was reported in Naselle at 8:48 p.m.

Aug. 30 - A vehicle prowl was reported in Ocean Park at 9:46 a.m., with a checkbook among the items taken.

An assault was reported in Ocean Park at 7:40 p.m.; a woman alleged that a man hit her in the face.

Aug. 31 - At 2:18 a.m., in Seaview, it was reported someone had siphoned gasoline from a vehicle.

At 8:12 a.m., a man was reported sitting in the driveway of a home in Surfside.

Vagrancy was reported at 2:47 p.m. A man was reported sleeping in his vehicle over several nights. He also had a Rotweiller dog that was chasing people.

A motorcycle accident was reported at 5:20 p.m., with the individual involved not requiring treatment.

Sept. 1 - A vehicle prowl was reported in Chinook at 6:31 a.m., with a CD player and other items taken.

At 10:42 a.m., a woman reported an ashtray was stolen from her porch in Ocean Park. She also reported a person has been taking cigarette butts from the ashtray in the past.

A sex offense was reported at Sandridge and Douglas at 10:54 a.m.

At 12:24 p.m., a car was reported to be parked blocking construction equipment from getting into a construction site in Seaview.

A four-wheeler was stolen from a residence at 12:30 p.m.

Damage to a pay phone in North Cove was reported at 1:56 p.m. A crowbar was used in an attempt to gain access.

Vandalism was reported in Chinook at 6:50 p.m.; someone "shot up the walls, etc." of a home.

An assault was reported in Nahcotta at 8:35 p.m.

Sept. 2 - Disorderly conduct was reported in Ocean Park at 1:04 a.m.; a neighbor was playing music very loudly.

A 1:45 a.m., someone reported fireworks being set off in Ocean Park.

Burglary to a vacation cabin at SR-103 and Cranberry roads was reported at 7:49 a.m.

A stolen vehicle was recovered in Ocean Park at 11:06 a.m.

Two juvenile shoplifters were in custody at 1:05 p.m.

A 10:21 p.m., someone reported a rave party with music loud enough to be heard a half-mile away.

Fireworks were being set off in Seaview at 11:15 p.m.

Sept. 3 - Criminal trespass was reported at 4:21 p.m. A man advised that neighbors had built a fire on his property and were dropping items such as microwaves, vehicle oil and assorted trash on his property.

There were 206 calls received by dispatch this week.
