ROSEBURG, Ore. - Leona Haring Lippincott, 91, of Roseburg, Ore., died Jan. 20, 2003 at Parker, Ariz. Funeral services were Jan. 27 at Eagle Point National V.A. Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore.

Mrs. Lippincott was born Leona Inez Alexander on Aug. 12, 1911 at Astoria, Ore. She grew up in Chinook, moved to Medford, Ore. in 1936 and in 1957 moved to Seattle. She married John C. Lippincott in 1957 at Waukegan, Ill. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and playing cribbage.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Lippincott of Roseburg, Ore., daughters: Jerrie Watson of Medford, Ore., and Joan Jacobson of Huntington Beach, Calif., eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Arrangements were with Perl Funeral Home, Medford, Ore.
