OCEAN PARK — On Nov. 14 and Nov. 15, artist Judy Leonard will be visiting the Barn on Bay’s Beach Home Old and New, located at 2311 Bay Avenue in Ocean Park, the shop and exhibition will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Leonard, a well-loved and heavily collected local artist, will bring artwork painted on traditional and nontraditional surfaces for the two-day show. Recently awarded Peninsula Arts Association’s top ribbon, People’s Choice, she also won public voted on ribbons for all three of her entries in the fall show. During her time at the barn, Leonard will be demonstrating many of her artistic skills.
Beach Home Old & New is an occasional retail establishment owned by another PAA member, Bonnie Lou Cozby. Eclectic is the name of the game at this shop: old and new home décor and bits and pieces of this and that fill the two-story space. Leonard’s creative and diverse talents are a perfect fit. Photography, clay, jewelry, scratchboard and drawings from five other PAA artists: Michele B. Naquaiya, Linda Marsh, Debbie Haugsten, Vickie Branch and Charlie Cozby are also available at the barn.
