PENINSULA — Southwest Washington veterans are invited to tell stories of their service during two live recording sessions on Oct. 16 that will be preserved in the Library of Congress.

The Veterans History Project and Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler are organizing events in Lewis and Clark counties. More details are expected from the Republican representative’s office.

Herrera Beutler, her staff and military men and women during the event plan do 30-minute interviews, one-on-one with each veteran.

Those who want to share their stories should RSVP by calling Louise Fendrich at 360-695-6292 or emailing louise.fendrich@mail.house.gov.
