North Head trees cleared out

Washington State Parks has cut down dozens of trees at North Head in recent days, mostly along the narrow back trail from the lighthouse keepers residences and at the nearby, seldom-visitied former radio communications site. The mature forest along the main trail between the parking lot and the lighthouse is still intact as of March 16.
