LONG BEACH — The third annual Pacific County Project Homeless Connect, coordinated by Peninsula Poverty Response, will take place Thursday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the BPOE 1937 Elks Lodge at 110 Pacific Highway in Long Beach.

All community members who are homeless or experiencing poverty are invited to come receive services. Bus vouchers to the event can be found at various social service agencies.

During this event, committed volunteers from various businesses, religious groups, fraternal organizations and more are partnering with providers of medical, legal, mental health, dental, housing, veterans’ benefits, veterinarian services and more. Guests will also receive a warm meal, a haircut if desired, clothing for children or adults as needed, and, most importantly, connection with fellow community members who care about the wellbeing of us all.

If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please call Mitzi Pothier at 360-574-3769 or visit us at www.peninsulapovertyresponse.com.
