Weary bear, happy author

Unusually named purple bear Don Quixote takes a rest while author Thomas Gondolfi greets people Saturday at the third annual Books at Long Beach, a Pacific Northwest Author Showcase and Book Fair. Gondolfi, a science fiction writer from Castle Rock, was one of multiple authors from around the Northwest, representing genres ranging from historical fiction to “paranormal” romances, participating with Long Beach writers Jan Bono and Jim Tweedie plus Jennifer Nightingale from Astoria and Brian Ratty from Warrenton. The event attracted visitors from all over the region.
