LONG BEACH - For the past three years, the Long Beach Lions Club has had a Lewis & Clark fund raising project, selling Lewis & Clark t-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, and badges. Funds raised go to promote area Lewis & Clark projects. For example, over the past three years the Club has donated just under $700.00 in products to the City of Long Beach in their Lewis & Clark promotions.

John Ford Clymer has painted ten oil paintings related to the Lewis & Clark Expedition, seven of these painting have been reproduced in poster size. "Sacajawea at the Big Water" is the art poster being presented above. Plans are being made by the Club to purchase a set of all seven art posters, and have them displayed in an area where the general public can view them.

If you would like to purchase tee-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, or badges, you can find them at Active Enterprises. Tee-shirts come in "Large" "Ex-large," and XX-large." A new order of tee-shirts is being put together, and you can pre-order smaller sizes, or larger sizes. Childrens sizes can be ordered.

Please contact Secretary A1 Harper if you have any questions about the art posters, T-shirts, Coffee mugs, hats, or badges. 642-8322.
