1 3-ounce package lime Jell-O

1 cup hot water

1/2 cup cold water

1 tablespoon green pepper minced finely

4 green onions sliced (including tops)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

Salt and pepper

1 tablespoon vinegar

1/2 cup canned grapefruit segments (halved)

1 avocado (cubed)

1 cup Dungeness crab meat

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water. Stir in cold water, vinegar, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Blend thoroughly with rotary beater. Pour into tray and freeze for 20 minutes. Turn into bowl and beat until fluffy. Carefully fold in onion, green pepper, grapefruit, avocado cubes and crabmeat. Pour into a ring mold and chill until firm. Serve with butter lettuce and sour cream dressing.

Sour Cream Dressing

1 teaspoon rosemary

1 tablespoon boiling water

1 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 cup mayonnaise

2 chopped green onions

Pinch of salt

Steep the rosemary in boiling water for five minutes. Strain. Mix all ingredients together. Chill.
