½ pound wide lasagna noodles

1 pound fresh Dungeness crab

1 thinly sliced tomato

2 cups small curd cottage cheese

1 egg

8 ounces cream cheese softened

2 teaspoons dried basil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 medium onion chopped

1 can cream of mushroom soup

Cook noodles. Mix soup and crab together. Mix cream cheese and egg, basil, onion, salt and pepper in a separate bowl. Add one cup grated cheddar, if desired

LAYER  — Noodles, cream cheese mix, crab mix and cottage cheese. Repeat two or three times. Top with sliced tomato. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
