? 1 egg, beaten

? 1 cup cracker crumbs

? 1/2 cup finely chopped onions

? salt and pepper

? 2 tablespoons milk

? 3 tablespoons butter

Combine all ingredients, except butter. Melt butter in heavy skillet. Form mixture into patties 3 1/2 inches across x 1/2 thick. Brown each side.

Lemon Cream Sauce

Mix together:

? 1 cup sour cream

? 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

? 1 teaspoon sugar

Serve on fish cakes.
