RAYMOND - Marie E. Andrews, 88, a long-time Pacific County resident died Thursday, Nov. 6 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center.

She was born Feb. 13, 1915 in Philadelphia, Pa., to Randolph and Sara (McDonald) Sherwood. She had lived many years in Oysterville, in California for a time, and for the last few years in South Bend.

She was employed as an oyster opener for Bendickson's Seafoods and Coast Oyster, both in South Bend, and at Associated Seafood in Markham. She enjoyed her family, rock hounding and crocheting.

Her husband, Carl Andrews died in July of 1973.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Schrotberger of Aberdeen and Alberta Leid of Bothell; two sons, Vernon Andrews of Pahrump, Nev., and Thomas Andrews of Raymond; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also had a daughter, Roberta, who died before her.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, where she will be buried beside her husband at the Oysterville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in care of Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond.
