Memorial for Damian Mulinix

Photojournalist Damian Mulinix, who recorded a generation of life on the Long Beach Peninsula, passed away early Saturday morning at a Portland hospital after suffering a stroke on March 18. He had a remarkable "eye" that imbued every image he captured with unique insight and creativity. Damian was among the Pacific Northwest's elite rank of award-winning photographers. He was particularly known for recording the achievements of young people. This informal memorial sprang up at the Chinook Observer this Saturday morning. We will have additional details in a day or two.
