AIDS curriculum parent review Dec. 9

NASELLE - The Naselle-Grays River Valley School District AIDS curriculum review night will be held on Monday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. at the school. The district is asking parents to please come and review the curriculum.

FAFF to host tour of homes on Dec. 15

NASELLE - The Finnish-American Folk Festival will host a Christmas Tour of Homes Sunday, Dec. 15. The tour will start with a program at the Pioneer Deep River Church at 1 p.m., which will feature the Finnish-American Choir, carols, and kantele music. Donations to help support the Deep River Church will be accepted.

The Tour of Homes will follow from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The homes on the tour include Janice Friddle, John and Judy Indermark, Anna Ehrlund, and Steve and Audrey Ullakko. The tour will be followed by a soup supper at 4 p.m. at the Naselle Lutheran Church, put on by the Priscilla Circle of the Church.

Tickets are available for $5 at Finn Ware, Astoria; Hair Villa, Naselle; Radio Shack, Seaview; at the concert at the Deep River Church, and tickets are also available at the homes on the tour. Maps are available with the tickets.

Martha Circle to hold sale and luncheon Dec. 7

NASELLE - The Martha Circle of the Naselle Congregational Church will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar sale and luncheon at the church on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., This "you can't miss it event" will have many of the hand-crafted items and delicious lunch which the sale has become known for.

Kid Helpers Club collecting food for the needy

NASELLE - The Kid Helpers Club, made up of home schooled students, is collecting food for needy families in the local area. Boxes for nonperishable food items are located in many area businesses. The food will be collected until Dec. 15 after which it will be distributed to needy families in the Naselle-Grays River area.
