Naselle schools to hold information meeting

NASELLE - The Naselle Grays River Valley School District will be conducting a college and career information night at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the Naselle High School Commons.

Counselor Justin Laine, as well as a military recruiter and representatives from Grays Harbor, Lower Columbia, and Clatsop Community College will be available to provide information and to answer questions regarding post high school planning, preparation, and options.

"We will be presenting a wealth of information regarding college and university admission requirements, the college application process, college admission, financial aid, and scholarship deadlines, the scholarship and financial aid application process, college admissions testing, vocational and technical degree programs, apprenticeship programs, the armed forces, associate and transfer degrees, and much more," Laine said.

High school seniors and juniors as well as their families are urged to mark this event on their calendar and to make every effort to attend this event. Refreshments will be provided.

Naselle cross country parents meeting Monday

NASELLE - A meeting for all parents of Naselle cross country team runners (both junior high and senior high) will be held Monday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m. in the Naselle High School commons, according to cross country coach Ryan Bjornsgard.
