NASELLE — “Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr.” is the Naselle High School Drama Club’s spring play.

It is the story of Millie Dillmount, who has arrived in New York City from Salina, Kansas, in 1922. She is determined to make it in the big city, so she bobs her hair, changes her fashion and joins the “Moderns.” This production is a real show stopper, with tap dancers, amazing vocal numbers and even an evil plot between Mrs. Meers, the hotel manager and her accomplices: Ching Ho and Bun Foo.

It will be presented in the Naselle School Commons. Play dates and times are:

Friday, May 3, at 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 4, at 2 p.m.

Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m.

Friday, May 10, at 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m.

The play’s director is Barb Swanson and as usual it will be a presentation with participation by the whole school and community. Make plans to attend!
