PORTLAND - Sarah Williams of Naselle graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in foreign languages at Lewis & Clark College's commencement ceremony held on May 7. Novelist, short story writer, essayist, and cartoonist Charles Johnson, whose book "Middle Passage" earned the 1990 National Book Award, addressed Lewis & Clark's 134th commencement.
