NASELLE - Stating, "If we can't find you, we can't help you!" the members of the Naselle Volunteer Fire Department are initiating a campaign to install address poles throughout Naselle in order to help the NVFD find the address in an emergency.

The mission statement for this project is: "To provide a rapid response for fire and medical personnel responding to your home in an emergency."

The proliferation of new roads and homes in the area have made it much more difficult to locate homes by the addresses on a mailbox. Also, many mailboxes have numbers that are too small or unreadable due to age and weather.

To help alleviate this problem, the volunteers of the Naselle Fire and Ambulance service will be installing address poles throughout the Naselle area to help find an address in an emergency. They are requesting a $20 donation to the Naselle Volunteer Fie Department to offset the cost of the address poles.

For additional information or to have your address pole installed, contact Laur'e Akers at 484-3469.
