OLYMPIA - Naselle Youth Camp will not be closed.

Details about the Washington state budget are still emerging Friday morning as the Legislature near adjournment.

But a two-page document, the "2009-2011 Operating Budget Framework," released by the Legislature late Thursday says regarding prisons and juvenile rehabilitation institutions that "No specific institutions are closed."

The document also states that no state parks will close, meaning that Fort Columbia State Park near Chinook will not be mothballed. Instead, the state will experiment with a semi-voluntary donation system when drivers renew their vehicle license tabs.

More budget specifics are expected later today when the Operating Budget is debated on the floors of the House and Senate. Legislative leaders predicted Thursday that they have enough votes in each chamber to pass the budget.
