FORMATION OF WATER DISTRICT:

The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 2007-064 concerning formation of the North Beach Water District. This resolution approves a petition proposing formation of a new public water district in order to provide water service to all properties within the district. The district is generally located between the Pacific Ocean and Willapa Bay and between 295th on the north and 179th on the south excluding Sections 3, 10, and 15 of Township 11 North, Range 11 W., W.M., all as more particularly described in Resolution No. 2007-064. Every registered voter in Pacific County will receive his or her ballot by mail for the February 19, 2008 Presidential Primary/Special Election. The ballots will be mailed out on January 30, 2008. Registered voters may mail or deposit their ballot at the following locations: Auditor's office (South Bend or Long Beach) up to and including the day of the Election. Both Locations also have a drive up deposit box for your convenience. The Auditor's offices will be open on February 19, 2008 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM to receive voted ballots. Election Day only, ballots may also be deposited at the Raymond High School 1016 Commercial St., Raymond and the Ocean Park Library, 1308 256th, Ocean Park. You may obtain a replacement ballot if the original ballot is destroyed, spoiled or lost; call (360) 875-9317 or (360) 642-9317. Replacement ballots maybe requested in person at the Auditor's offices two locations. Any Ballots postmarked after the election will not be counted. The County Auditor's offices are ADA compliant and registration and voting aids are available upon request.
