On or about April 17, 2013, North Beach Water District will request the State of Washington Department of Health and Department of Commerce to release funds under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and Washington State Environmental Policy Act.
North Beach Water District will undertake the projects described below utilizing Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loans. A Determination of No Historic Properties Affected was issued for this project. A copy of the Project Review Sheet for Section 106 is on file at the above address and is available for public examination and copying upon request.
Project Information: (Project Title or Name) North Beach Water District. The project consists of design and construction of the following improvements: * U Street Water Main: install approximately 1,500 lineal feet of 12-inch water main from Bay Avenue to 256th Street; * Z Street Water Main: install approximately 2,200 lineal feet of 8-inch water main from Bay Avenue to 270th Street Birch Place Water Main; * install approximately 1,300 lineal feet of 8-inch water main from 236th Street to 240th Street. A new easement will be obtained for the watermain in this project. * Work will also include installation of fire hydrants and replacement of water services, 20 meters will be replaced and 600 lf of either 3/4 or 1 inch service line. * Construction will include excavation, backfill, and restoration of disturbed areas. * Staging of any equipment or materials will be within the boundaries of the roadways bordering the water system. Objections of the project may be submitted to the Office of Drinking Water Director, Denise A. Clifford, Department of Health, P.O. Box 47822, Olympia, Washington 98504-7822. Any objections received after April 17, 2013 will not be considered by the Department of Health.
