NASELLE - Tito Richard Estrada Jr. is the most recent Naselle Youth Camp School graduate, having received his diploma from Principal Lisa Nelson recently. Estrada said, "I plan on earning an associates degree and then a four-year degree. I am interested in a career in acupuncture at the present time."

He thanked Nelson, teacher Tim Kopp, chaplain Larry Bennett and his counselor Barbara Norman for their special attention and direction. His favorite classes were current world problems, aquaculture and horticulture. Nelson said, "Tito is an exceptionally bright young man with a tremendous up-side. He passed the reading, writing, mathematics and science sections on the Washington Assessment of Student Learning and not that many students achieve those standards."

Estrada is the sixth student to graduate from NYC School since September and the first in 2010 to achieve that goal.
