Obituaries: Merikay Hall

LOS ANGELES - Merikay Hall, 59, of Los Angeles, Calif., passed away at Cedar Sinai Hospital on July 24, 2007, after a three-year struggle with cancer. She was born Aug. 26, 1947, to Merle and Mary Ann Hall, and attended Naselle High School, graduating in 1965.

She was employed as a flight attendant for TWA and American Airlines for many years, and most recently worked for Toyota flying corporate jets. She traveled the world visiting exotic places such as Cairo, Paris, Rome and Japan.

She will be remembered for her amazing way with animals, her spunky independence and her thoughtfulness. She loved her family, friends, traveling and her kitties. She will be forever remembered, treasured and missed.

Survivors include her parents, Merle and Judy Hall of Naselle; brothers Wayne Hall of Longview and Chuck Hendrickson of Naselle, and her sisters Shari Wood of Vancouver and Kelly Wallace of Quincy. Her mother, Mary Ann Hall and a brother, Scott Hall, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday Aug. 10 at Peaceful Hill Cemetery in Naselle, with a reception following at Valley Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peaceful Hill Cemetery, P.O. Box 47, Naselle, WA 98638.
