VANCOUVER - Evelyn Jean Walker, 59, died Oct. 15, 2002 at home in Vancouver. She had moved back to Vancouver from Long Beach where she had lived for 15 years.

Mrs. Walker was born on March 20, 1943 in Nebraska, the daughter of Harold and Bessie Reiners.

She loved Elvis, Nascar racing, crafts and collecting dolls. She was very devoted to her family.

Survivors include, husband William I. Walker at home; three daughters Kimberly Higdon of Long Beach, Cheryl Kyniston of Ariel, and Billie Jean Roth of Vancouver; two sisters, Judy Pietrzykowski of Battle Ground and Kathleen Romane of Camus; Dick Reiner Sr. of Long Beach; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service was Monday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Contributions may be made to any branch of Lecamas Community Credit Union to help family with burial cost.
