LONG BEACH — Two school levies sailed to landslide victories Tuesday in Ocean Beach School District.

The main Maintenance and Operations Levy won with about 66 percent, while a Technology Levy to pay for computer-related expenses won with 64 percent.

Voter turnout was about 53 percent, not bad for a one-issue election. The Pacific County Auditor’s Office estimates it will only receive about 100 additional ballots in the mail during the remainder of the week.
