LONG BEACH - A small downtown shop known as the former location of Siren's Boutique is now home to a new business started by Lacie DeWitt and Liz Rogers - Salon LOL (Liz Or Lacie).

Both former employees of Simplicity Salon in Chinook, Rogers and DeWitt say their new salon will have a fun, laid-back atmosphere, and offer quality hair color services, men's and women's haircuts, manicures, pedicures and facial waxing at reasonable rates.

A grand opening event will be held Friday, Jan. 1 and Saturday, Jan. 2 from noon to 5 p.m. Stop by the salon for complimentary product samples, and enjoy their snack and beverage bar. Book a future appointment during the event and receive 20 percent off products on the day of your appointment.

"We want people to feel comfortable to walk in and see what we're all about," DeWitt explains.

Striving to do more, DeWitt and Rogers say they are always in the process of furthering their cut and color education. The pair also hope to network with other Peninsula salons for referrals and training opportunities.

Located in Fish Alley at 115 Pacific Avenue South, Salon LOL is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours appointments are available upon request. To make an appointment or find out what specials they have on products and services, call 642-3553.
