PORTLAND - Daryl Mishler, 80, of Ocean Park joined the list of highway accident fatalities earlier this fall as the result of injuries he sustained when his 2000 Dodge Neon struck a power pole as he was traveling northbound on SR103 at 198th Place on Aug. 25.

The car left the highway to the left, striking the pole, which was severely damaged. Mishler, who was wearing a seat belt and whose vehicle's airbags deployed, was transported by ambulance to Ocean Beach Hospital, where he was initially listed in fair condition.
