LONG BEACH - Today, Chief Ronal Serpas announced a town meeting to be held at the Chautaugua Lodge, 304 N. 14th Street in Long Beach.

Captain Gail Otto, Washington State Patrol District 8 Commander will host the meeting. Guests will be Washington State Patrol Chief Ronal Serpas, Deputy Chief Lowell Porter, and Pacific County Sheriff John Didion.

The Washington State Patrol is hosting town meetings around the state, explaining the challenges and successes of the patrol and giving the community an opportunity to express concerns. "With the conclusion of the recent Rod Run and some significant collisions in the area, we wanted to have our first district meeting in the Long Beach area," said Captain Otto.

The community is welcome to attend and meet with the command of the Washington State Patrol. The meeting will be held on Nov. 13, starting at 6 p.m., and will conclude at 8 p.m.
