PENINSULA - The official stamp ceremonies taking place at Cape Disappointment State Park in Ilwaco will kick off the Lewis and Clark weekend activities, May 14.

At 9 a.m., the Postal Service will issue the first release of the commemorative stamps at the enhanced Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Open to the public, the event will be followed by a similar ceremony at the Fort Clatsop National Memorial in Astoria at noon.
