LONG BEACH - Pharmacist Tom Sutherland of Long Beach Pharmacy recently attended a five- day pharmacy compounding training course in Houston, Texas.

Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) hosted pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from across Canada and the United States. at its hands-on training class. Compounding is the pharmacy method of custom-preparing medications to meet each prescriber's and patient's individual needs.
