Long Beach Police DepartmentOn Aug. 18 at 10 a.m., a runaway/missing persons report was completed on a juvenile who had been living on Ortelius in Ilwaco, left to catch a bus to detention and never showed up.
At 10:13 p.m., vandalism was reported after someone had written all over signs in Long Beach damaging them.
At 10:25 p.m., someone reported a female screaming on Ortelius Drive. The officer made contact with a group of juveniles who said a girl with them screamed when she accidentally fell in a ditch.
On Aug. 19 at 12:18 a.m., three individuals were reported to be staggering down Bolstad and one had urinated on the red buoy. The officer contacted the three subjects who all denied having done anything. They were counseled to behave and not cause any more problems.
At 12:10 p.m., a man was upset and yelling when trying to find a parking spot on Bolstad and he refused to follow a flagger's instructions.
On Aug. 20, squatters were reported at a motel in Long Beach. The responding officer did not find anyone but did find signs that someone is living at the location without permission.
About $450 in prescription medication was allegedly stolen from a purse while the owner was in Long Beach. The incident was reported at 8:15 p.m.
At 9:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to South Washington Street for an assault. Danielle M. Brum, age 19, from Long Beach was booked into Pacific County Jail for domestic violence fourth-degree assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Aug. 21 at 3:47 p.m., three male subjects were reported to be intoxicated and doing vandalism as they strolled along Ocean Boulevard. After observing the individuals an officer approached them. One fled the scene. Michael J. Turner, age 19, from Seattle was cited for minor in possession of intoxicants. A 17-year-old male, who also was from Seattle, will be charged with minor in possession through the Juvenile Department.
On Aug. 22 at 12:55 p.m., an individual called to report marijuana growing at a location on Highway 101. An officer responded and determined it was not pot plants.
On Aug. 23 at 9:50 a.m., a church near Black Lake reported their sign had been damaged when the saying on the sign was changed.
A rape was reported at 7:11 p.m., by staff at Ocean Beach Hospital. The case is under investigation.
At 11:10 p.m., a person was found passed out behind the wheel of a car, with a drug pipe and lighter in hand. The person was turned over to the Washington State Patrol for processing.
On Aug. 24, at 1:59 a.m., an intoxicated man in a Long Beach RV park allegedly got up too fast and fell, hit his head and split his forehead open. Medix was called and the man was transported to the hospital for care.
At 3:40 p.m., two juvenile females allegedly stolen four sweatshirts from a downtown Long Beach shop and fled the scene.
