Long Beach Police Department On May 3 at 5:10 a.m., a police officer was dispatched to the Port of Ilwaco for a person refusing to pay a cab fare. After a discussion, the man woke up a friend who paid the $44.40 fare.
Items valued at about $1,000 were reported stolen from a Washington Avenue home sometime over the past two months.
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on 30th Street in Long Beach at 11:24 p.m. The issue involved divorcing parties who went to separate residences for the night.
On May 4 at 4:20 a.m., Charles D. Reece, age 43, from Long Beach was picked up and booked into Pacific County Jail on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
On May 6 at 12:20 p.m., two female students got into a fight at the high school. No charges were filed, and the school will handle the incident.
At 7:23 p.m., a hit and run incident was reported near the medical clinic. The suspect later turned herself in and made arrangements with the victim to handle repairs.
On May 7 at 8:30 a.m., a cloth purse was reported stolen. The purse contained a mouth retainer with a value of about $700.
At 8:40 p.m., Ronald A. Lynch, age 31, from Long Beach was cited for domestic violence fourth-degree assault, after his girlfriend alleged he hit her earlier in the day.
On May 8 at 8:25 a.m., more than $300 in tools were reportedly stolen from a locked tool shed in Long Beach.
On May 9 at 10 a.m., a guest at a motel reported almost $6,000 in jewelry was stolen from a room.
Pacific County Sheriff's OfficeOn May 6, Pacific County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an assault in the Ocean Park area. Deputies arrived and interviewed two roommates. One alleged being assaulted by the other. The alleged assailant was placed under arrest. Jerome J. Parker, age 45, of Ocean Park, was booked into Pacific County Jail for one count of assault fourth-degree, domestic violence.
On May 7, Pacific County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the Ocean Park area. An adult male at the residence stated that he was assaulted by his girlfriend. The girlfriend was placed under arrest. Diane M. Sundstrom, age 19, of Ocean Park, was booked into Pacific County Jail for one count of assault fourth-degree, domestic violence.
On May 10, Pacific County deputies responded to a report of a domestic assault in the Ocean Park area. The suspect allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and was reportedly driving his vehicle recklessly throughout the Ocean Park area. A deputy located the suspect, in his vehicle, at a business in Ocean Park. While arresting the male suspect, the deputy alleges he struggled with him in an attempt to resist arrest. Additional officers were called to assist and the suspect was taken into custody. Russell A. Hamilton, age 18, of Ocean Park, was booked into Pacific County Jail for one count of assault fourth-degree, domestic violence, two counts of reckless endangerment, domestic violence, one count of reckless endangerment, and one count of obstructing a public servant.
