NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Port of Chinook will hold a public auction on NOVEMBER 4, 2013, at Port of Chinook, 743 Water Street, Chinook, Washington. The purpose of the auction is to sell the following vessel pursuant to RCW 53.08.310. RCW 53.08.320.

Current charges owed to the Port, with respect to the vessel, are $3,871.02, and will be $4101.02 by the date of the public auction, as stated above. Persons wishing to inspect the vessel will be permitted to do so by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, contact the Port of Chinook at (360) 777-8797, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

The sale will be to the highest bidder without warranty against liens or encumbrances; and in an “as is” and “where is” condition. Cash, Cashier’s Check or Money order will be accepted for payment. Minimum bid for the vessel will be $4,101.02. Payment made by Cashier’s Check or Money Order requires the successful bidder to submit a TEN PERCENT (10%) CASH DEPOSIT to secure the payment of bid amount. A Cashier’s Check or Money Order for the amount of the balance owing must be delivered to the Port office within TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS of the conclusion of the auction. The successful bidder is also responsible for all the applicable state sales tax in addition to the bid amount. The vessel must be removed from the Port of Chinook ONE (1) WEEK from the date of sale.
