SOUTH BEND - With the assistance of Pacific County Sheriff John Didion and the Pacific County commissioners, Project Lifesaver equipment has been ordered through an arrangement where future contributions will reimburse the initial expenses of the county.

Project Lifesaver is a community-based effort to build a rapid response program that will aid victims and families suffering from Alzheimer's disease and related disorders such as Down syndrome and autism in Pacific County.
