Public Hearing Notice

Boundary Hearing for Proposed NRCA

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a public hearing on June 12, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at the Naselle Timberland Library, State Route 401 & Parpala Road, Naselle, WA.

At the hearing DNR will present an overview and receive public comments about a proposed transfer of approximately 28 acres of “state forest land” in Pacific County into “natural resources conservation area” (NRCA) management status.

The proposed transfer is intended to replace lands encumbered with wildlife species protections with lands better suited to generate revenue for public services in Pacific County.

Written comments on the proposed site boundary will be accepted until close of business on June 19, 2013, at: Washington Department of Natural Resources, Conservation, Recreation & Transactions Division, ATTN: Proposed NRCA Boundary, PO Box 47014, Olympia, WA 98504-7014. Or comments may be emailed to AMPD@dnr.wa.gov.
