NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Pacific County Board of Adjustment to hold a public hearing in the South County Administrative Building in Long Beach, Washington at the hour of 3:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible on Wednesday, May 27, 2009.

The public hearing will be held for consideration of Variance Permit Application No. 09-0034LB submitted by Karl and Michal Miller, property owners. The applicants/owners are requesting a Variance Permit from the Pacific County Board of Adjustment in order to accommodate 16 guests in the rental. Specifically, the applicants are proposing to utilize their existing seven-bedroom residential Bed & Breakfast building located within the Community Commercial (C-C) Zoning District as a 16 guest Vacation Rental. Section 16.B.10 of Pacific County Ordinance No. 153, Land Use, includes vacation rentals as a permitted use in a Community Commercial (C-C) Zoning District. However, vacation rentals must comply with all the regulations contained in Section 21.N of Pacific County Ord. No. 153 - Transient Lodging/Short term Vacation Rentals. A Variance Permit is required because the applicants/owners are requesting that the proposed vacation rental accommodate 16 guests; six (6) guests more than the 10 guest limit set forth under Section 21.N.1 of Pacific County Ordinance Number 153.

The project site is located at 3310 Pacific Way Seaview, Washington 98644. The legal description of the property is Seaview 108 Tax Lots 1-6 within Section 28, Township 10 North, Range 11 West, W.M., Pacific County, WA (parcel #73026108001 & 73026108005).

Anyone interested is invited to attend said hearing and be heard either for or against the granting of these Conditional Use and or Variance Permits. In order to include any presented information in the record, it will be necessary to furnish a written version of the testimony to the Board of Adjustment.
