Ice Cream Social
Our next ice cream social will be March 17 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. If it is your birthday month, you are the Senior Center's guest. Otherwise, it is $1.00. You do not have to be a member of the Senior Activity Center to come to our socials. Children are welcome.
Tai Chi class
Tai Chi is offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays.
AARP meets
AARP meets every first Monday of the month at the senior center. A meeting is followed by a potluck. For more information contact Denice Fernandez at 665-6371.
Knit Wits
The second and fourth Mondays the Knit Wits meet. If you need help on a knitting problem, this is where you can get help; or if you don't knit, come and visit from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Crafters get together
Crafters meet on Tuesdays at the Peninsula Senior Activity Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Items are made for the craft table. This is a fund-raiser so join in making items to be sold.
Board meeting
The second Tuesday of the month the center's board meets at 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Lions meet
The first Tuesday of the month the Ocean Park Lions meet at 6:30 p.m.
Pinochle
Play pinochle every Wednesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Men and women are welcome. The regulars will help you if you are new at the game.
Senior Crafters meet
On Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon, a group of ladies have a good time showing what they are making or have already made. Everyone is welcome.
Low Vision meets
Low vision group meets every third Friday of the month from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Call Dorothy at 665-5225.
Yoga
Enjoy yoga every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11:30
