On April 13, Pacific County deputies responded to an incomplete 911 call in the Naselle area. Responding deputies interviewed those involved and determined a physical altercation between a husband and wife occurred. Deputies allege that the wife refused to provide necessary information to them. Sara M. Barrett, age 28, of Naselle, was arrested and booked into Pacific County Jail for one count of assault fourth-degree, domestic violence, and one count of obstructing a law enforcement officer.

On April 16, Pacific County deputies and officers from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife responded to a report of individuals trespassing behind a locked gate on State Route 401 near milepost 2. The reporting person provided deputies with descriptions of the vehicles involved. Upon arrival officers found the vehicles had left. Evidence located indicated that the individuals broke the lock on the gate and that they were attempting to remove a large item belonging to the landowner. Officers located one of the suspect vehicles and conducted a traffic stop. Two suspects were arrested from the vehicle. Andrew W. O'Connor, age 51, of Chinook, was booked into Pacific County Jail for criminal attempt theft third-degree, criminal trespassing second-degree, malicious mischief second-degree, and possession of a controlled substance. Michael V. Bodine, age 45, of Ocean Park, was booked into Pacific County Jail for criminal attempt theft third-degree, criminal trespassing second-degree, malicious mischief second-degree, possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant for attempting to elude. The following day, officers from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife located a third suspect believed to be involved. Ronald R. Legler, age 37, of Rosburg, was arrested and booked into Pacific County Jail for criminal attempt theft third-degree, criminal trespassing second-degree, and malicious mischief second-degree.
