ASTORIA - Now is the time to sign up for spring term classes at Clatsop Community College. Registration continues through April 6 at the main campus, 1653 Jerome Avenue in Astoria. Classes will begin on Monday; April 2.

Online registration is now available to returning, degree-seeking students, making registration more convenient, at www.clatsopcc.edu.

Have you always had an interest in marine plants and animals; new this term is Marine Biology where students will investigate marine environments and conduct studies of Pacific Northwest intertidal estuarine ecosystems. Also new this term is Native American history, a course covering the response of contact between European-Americans and Natives, the cultural differences and the struggles against reservation and assimilation and termination. This course will also cover current Native American issues.

Pick up the printed schedule on campus and at other locations such as public libraries. The college catalog, with complete course and program descriptions is available on the Web site and on campus. Non-degree seeking students may register with the mail-in and fax registration form on page six of the class schedule. For information or to register, call registration at 503-338-2437.

CCC offers a wide variety of classes for job training; new or improved computer skills; required courses for transfer to a four-year institution; and personal enrichment. A number of classes are offered both daytime and evening for your convenience.
